Privacy experts are concerned about biometric data usage in airports as airlines such as Air Canada continue development of their facial recognition programs, CBC News reports. Air Canada said its Digital Identification trial program is voluntary and limits data processing by deleting travelers’ data within 36 hours after their flight. Read more.
