
Justice Ministry announces launch of data protection officer appointment process for high-risk sectors
Manama, Apr. 12 (BNA): Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and Acting Chairman of the Board of the Personal Data Protection Authority, announced that the Ministry has started receiving applications for the appointment of Data Protection Officers in the private sector, specifically in the categories classified by the Authority as high-risk in the field of personal data.
